Christmas ...... agggghhhhhhh.....
Did anyone actually say that Christmas had to creep up so fast??? Its not fair..... Actually the festive season is slightly delayed in our household due to both my sons' having their birthdays at the beginning of December......Real clever me!
We start preparing the house on the 10th, so it doesn't seem quite so long somehow....but then the children break up from school & suddenly its upon us.
We have a very busy schedule at church over the next 4 weeks as well, but with me having to go in for surgery on the 3rd of december, I can't say that it will be strictly followed...We shall have to see.
Ok, well for today's Crafting moment, here is a link to the scrapbookflair.com page where you can download, for FREE, several designer collections of papers, elements etc, as well as a huge range of everyday stuff, for your digital/hybrid scrapping......
Enjoy!!

So long ago........
Its been so long since I posted anything & I feel really guilty..........Maybe things have just been so on top of me that this was the last thing on my mind, or whether I just plain forgot, I apologise.....
Anyway,
To liven things up around here I would like to give you a couple of links to digital scrapping sites which I think you will appreciate.
Firstly, is www.scrapbookflair.com - which gives you access to loads of free downloads for digital scrapping, which could also easily be used for hybrid scrapping as well as card making.....
and secondly, www.daisytrail.com, which is not only a shop (with a few newly emerging designers - great for those of you looking for something new) but also a forum & uploading site......... there are also freebies available on the website ( and you don't have to download their software to use them, much is available in png format for you to import in to photoshop, elements or other photo editing suite)
Thats it for now, but I promise to try and keep on top of things a little more from now on....
Promise..........
Clare

Ebay sucess
Following up on my previous post, I am quite glad to say that I had, what I suppose should be termed, moderate sucess.....I did manage to sell everything (although one or two things required listing more than once) and everyone was pleased enough to leave me very pleasant feedback......
I have still got a couple of other things to get round to listing, but a number of people (increasing numbers actually) have been saying that I should list some of my handmade bead jewellery on Ebay too.....I'm not so sure about that..Firstly, one is never convinced of one's own abilities, secondly, I have had a couple of teething issues with threads snapping which I still need to look at the reasons for (although I think I do know the reason behind this)& thirdly , I am just not sure anyone would buy my pieces outside of the family, whom I am pretty sure are just being polite....despite protestations to the contrary...
I have done re-strings for a few other people (on commission) and been paid for but as of yet have only sold one lariat-style (very long) necklace ... The rest I either made as gifts for others or I wear, or just sit in little pouches until I decided what to do with them..
Hey ho!
What to do, what to do?

This is a selection of photographs (Click on the rectangle below) taken at our Childrens Easter Saturday workshop, this year.
A selection of activities was available including making chocolate covered rice krispy nests, an Easter Bonnet, making a miniature Easter garden (as well as helping to decorate the Church's full-size version!), and many other crafty opportunities, leading to mess and messyness......
This years weather report was wet & overcast, but despite this the children still had the fun they expected & completed the "compulsory" egg-rolling competition............(See the last photo for an image which says exactly what was felt about this "rolling" idea)

This is scary.......
Is it always this scary first time around???
I bet it isn't!
Never mind, I shall just get on with it and make it go away, and maybe next time it will be less painful.........
Anyway....
Welcome to my Blog. I'm not sure that anything meaningful will come out of this, but I will sure try. I have managed to amass a HUGE number of links &/ OR bookmarks for other blogs/websites which might be of interest to some of you I shall share, and also I might use this as a forum for my other interests i.e. papercrafts, cards, handmade sterling silver & glass bead jewellery & photography......
Be warned!!
Please feel free to drop me a quick "Hi" in between posts.
Bye for now,
Clare
